The immigration office in Ontario has issued fresh Notifications of Interest in the French Speaking Skilled Workers stream of Express Entry for the province.
In the latest draw, 34 Notifications were issued to candidates who had submitted their profiles from January 1st until April 19th, 2018. Furthermore, there is no minimum score in the French Speaking Skilled Worker stream.
Ontario EE French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
The qualifying norms for the applicants are:
- They must have a Pending application in the Federal Express Entry system;
- Minimum one year of full-time work experience, or its equivalent in the NOC occupation level 0, A or B;
- Possessing a Bachelors or Masters degree or a Ph.D.;
- Reaching Minimum C.L.B. level 7 in TEF exam;
- They must agree to reside in the Ontario Province;
- A Minimum score of 400 points in the Federal Comprehensive Ranking System.
The O.I.N.P. publishes details regarding specific draws also from the beginning of 2018. It is a result of the signing of an immigration agreement between the province and the federal government. This draw was the second to take place in April in the F.S.S.W. and the eleventh in 2018.
In The previous F.S.S.W. draw of April 12, 55 Notifications were issued to the applicants. The norm was that they must submit their Express Entry profiles in the period starting from January 1 and ending on April 12, 2018.
Ontario has conducted Human Capital Priorities and Entrepreneur Stream draws also during the present year.

The Program presently has an increased allocation from the federal government for 2018. It is of 6,600 nominations, which sees an increase of 600 from the figures of 2017.
